Levitating Cat

I designed a levitating cat figure for a friend’s birthday present.

The cat body was modified from an existing model, and additional components were designed using Fusion360.
The levitating base was taken from a commercial "levitating flower pot" product, and the permanent magnet was removed from the flower pot to be used in this design.
I designed a rotational snap fit joint, and employed UX design principles. This product was designed to be modular so that the cat body could be easily replaced with a different outer body.
Product was manufactured using SLA 3D-printing.
